Ancillary Services are services provided to the System Operator by Generators or Customers apart from primary energy. They are needed to support the reliable and secure transport of power from Generators to Customers.
The Ancillary Services department is divided into the following sections:

What is
Demand Response
Demand Response (DR) is defined as a measurable change in electrical demand by customer or Load Providers in response to a curtailment notice.
Typical curtailment activities include:
- Reducing electricity power to production equipment
- Turning of air conditioning units.
- Shutting off lights
