Talib Sadik
Talib Sadik is currently serving as the acting Interim Chief Financial Officer of the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), where he leads the Finance Business Unit. A Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)), he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, complemented by an Advanced Management Programme from INSEAD Graduate Business School in France, among other qualifications.
As a seasoned financial management executive, he has held strategic leadership roles across diverse sectors, including advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, mining, private equity, media, and black economic empowerment. He brings extensive experience in leading state-owned enterprises (SOEs), having driven sustainability and growth at organisations such as Denel, where he served as Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Chief Executive Officer, and the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), where he held positions as TV Finance Manager and Group Chief Financial Officer.
His managerial expertise is anchored in a deep understanding of the interplay between economic, political, social, and organisational factors. In addition, he actively contributes to various social and professional bodies, offering leadership beyond his professional responsibilities.
