Leslie Naidoo
Leslie Naidoo is serving as Chief-of-Staff at General Manager level in the Office of the CEO of the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA).
In this pivotal role, Leslie enables the Interim CEO to focus on critical priorities by leading strategic project execution and driving high-impact initiatives, supporting key decisions, and ensuring smooth information flow to foster company-wide alignment. Acting as gatekeeper, he prioritises and manages essential tasks.
Previously Senior Manager: Grid Planning, Leslie brings over 30 years of experience at Eskom Transmission and the NTCSA, spanning engineering, projects, power system and strategic planning, and operational execution.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, an MSc in Engineering Business Management, a Diploma in Datametrics, and has completed executive programs at Samford and Henley Business Schools.
Leslie is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), a member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE), and serves on the Department of Science and Innovation’s SA Research Infrastructure Roadmap steering committee and the National Rationalised Specifications Association management committee.
